Turning thrift store waste into resources.
The Local Thrift Project supports thrift shops with smarter donation processing methods that prioritise reuse and redistribution.
To ensure every usable item stays in circulation longer, we find local solutions to excess, damaged or unwanted stock, keeping valuable resources out of landfill and away from unnecessary textile recycling.
We view these unwanted items as resources and utilise them through an ever expanding range of fun, hands on DIY workshops.
Currently operating in partnership with The Henley Opportunity Shop we ensure nothing is wasted, donations are utilised and landfill contribution is minimal.
Henley Opportunity Shop have just a standard council bin a week - and its not even full!
